February Kicks-off 2017 Executive Club Campaign!

February marks the kick-off for the New York Farm Bureau Foundation for Agricultural Education Annual Executive Club fundraising campaign, and we already have two members, Yates and Tompkins County Farm Bureaus!  Our thanks to these forward-thinking members for their support and vote of confidence. This campaign is targeted toward members of the county Farm Bureau boards of directors where each board member is encouraged to make an investment of $25.00 or more to the Foundation.  If the full county board participates, that county Farm Bureau Board joins the Executive Club.

We were honored in 2016 to recognize many of our county Farm Bureaus as Gold Executive Club Members for their continuous support for the past four years.  Our goal is an upward trend in membership by those that are such important beneficiaries of our programs, projects and tools.   More than 75% of the county Farm Bureaus in New York have supported the Executive Club.

The Foundation was initiated by those within the agricultural community to provide a raised level of knowledge and understanding by all who interact with agriculture through the food, fiber and the community. Since its inception, The Foundation’s projects have yielded abundant positives through an improved understanding of agriculture in New York State. Increased Executive Club support is invested in tools that you can use at events and venues to reach the general public.

The Executive Club is one of many alternatives to demonstrate your support of agricultural education.  If you are interested in making an investment in the future of the agricultural industry in New York State, but are not a member of a county Farm Bureau board, please contact us at the 1-800-342-4143, and we will be happy to discuss the Foundation, its educational efforts, and the many ways you can provide support.

If you are a member of a county Farm Bureau, please encourage your County Board of Directors to become a member of “The Club.”
